You can join the event at any point during the month from Quests > View Event.
This event includes a special story, inspired by a location within Forgotten Island, that unfolds over 14 days.
As your adventure unfolds, you'll discover new locations, backgrounds, and story moments along the way. This is expected and part of the event experience.
Adventure chats during this event may also be a little longer than usual as they help tell the story. We recommend reading along—you might discover some memorable moments with Jo and Raissa.
After completing the 14-day story, you'll be able to remain in Forgotten Island through the end of the event.
Staying or leaving is completely optional!

Great news, more hairstyles are on the way! We plan to introduce new ones through future seasonal events to start, and we're still working out the details on how that'll look. We hope this is a good starting point that will enable us to figure out hairstyles for the longer term.
There’s a lot of things we still need to iron out regarding the hairstyle system and the challenges where our shops aren’t scaling as is. But know that it’s something our team expects to continuously think through.

The Supergirl seasonal event runs for 30 days in June.
You can join the event at any point during the month from Quests > View Event.

You might spot new backgrounds appearing along the way as the event progresses. This is expected and part of the event.

You will be able to remain at the Cosmic Rest Stop until June 30th, even after completing the story. Staying or leaving is completely optional!
If you wish to leave at any point, you can do so from the seasonal event screen.
👀 You can see how many adventures you've completed at the Cosmic Rest Stop (or return before the end of the event) from the Event Screen as well.
The best way to earn event items is by participating in the event each day! The items for this event will not be available in the Shop after the event ends, so we highly recommend checking in each day to earn them while they're available!

Note: If you choose to write a custom response, that interaction will not be saved as a discovery. This feature is helpful for moments or topics that do not resonate with you and that you would rather not keep as part of your app experience.
You'll have access to the outfits shop and furniture shop from the Shop tab on the Home screen. As your birb grows, additional shops will unlock!
\nIn the shop catalog, items are view-only. You will not be able to purchase directly from the catalog. However, you can buy items from the daily random rotation of rare items and from the everyday section.
Finch includes wellness exercises like breathing exercises, reflections (or journaling), and focus timers. These can be found in the Activities menu within the app’s settings.
Be sure to check out the Quests tab as well. Quests introduce you to more features of the app and guide you to different features like breathing exercises and petting your birb.
You can add friends from within the Friends tab to send encouragement and good vibes.
If you invite new friends to the app (or are invited by a friend) you can earn additional rewards!
Finch Plus is an optional subscription that helps you access additional benefits within the app!

Colors can be changed using dyes from the shop! They look like little shampoo bottles. Once purchased, you can freely change colors in the closet. Check the dressing room and use the drop-down menu to switch from items to dyes. Enjoy styling your birb! 🌈
Consider entering the monthly Guardian raffles for a chance to win free Finch Plus! Go to Settings > Become a Guardian > Enter Raffle. Winners may also get highly discounted subscriptions or free Finch Plus if affordability is an issue 💛

Google Family Link often blocks subscriptions. One workaround used by a parent:
Eggs may hatch into a micropet you already have. New variations may appear different from originals. This allows flexibility to have both a baby and adult of the same type.
If you wrote a custom response during an adventure, new discoveries may not appear. This ensures triggering content can be opted out. Sometimes, a bug may report a new discovery without logging it under likes/dislikes.
If you see a data corruption message, we cannot restore lost data. However, we can manually gift up to 30 items and additional rainbow stones. Item ID Reference
All Finch data is local unless you have a Finch Account. Use the \"Your Data\" section in the app to create/load backup files. If lost, we can help restore items and rainbow stones. Provide your friend code, item IDs (see Item ID Reference), and an estimate of rainbow stones.

If you have a Finch Account: If you’ve just installed the app, then from the very first screen, tap the “Log In” button. You can log in using either your phone number or email and password. Most users who created Cloud Backup accounts will use an email and password, and most users who recently signed up for Finch will use their phone number and verification code.

We can manually gift missing items. Copy/paste item names from the Item ID Reference and send them to us in an email explaining the situation at: support@befinch.com.

The travel agency shows a random assortment of locations each day. Check back regularly to see your preferred locations at discounted prices 🌳

If you’re behind a day on the Finch calendar, it means a missed adventure. Finch days are based on your set waking hours (starting 2 hours earlier than your set wake-up time). Birbs get sleepy near the end of your set sleep time. The calendar doesn’t sync automatically with real-life time. Everything is working as intended 💛
Time zone changes or daylight savings can cause a temporary disappearance. Usually resolves in 1-2 days. Leave Finch unopened for 24 hours to help sync. If issues continue, contact support.
Refunds are handled directly by the App Store or Google Play. You can request one through your device’s purchase history.
Tap Restore Purchases in app settings to refresh your subscription.
Visit Micropet playland, tap Professor Oat, and select a new goal. If you don't yet have a new egg, you can retrieve one from Professor Oat 💛

Decorating your Birdhouse is a fun way to further customize your experience in Finch! However, we know that placing items specifically to the left or right of the door can be a bit confusing. This article clarifies how to decorate both sides of your Birdhouse door.
The Birdhouse allows for items to be placed on either the left or right side of the door. Unlike other items, door-side items can be placed in either slot (left or right). However, each door-side item can only be used once. Here's how to do it:
The Guardians Program is an initiative designed to foster community engagement and support within our app. As part of this program, users can contribute to fundraising efforts that benefit our community and, in return, receive special rewards when milestones are reached.
As we collectively work towards our fundraising goals, we want to celebrate each milestone achieved. When a milestone is reached, all users will see a “There is a rainbow” or “What are we celebrating?” button in the app. This is a moment for everyone to celebrate together!
All users will receive an in-game gift item as a token of appreciation for their support and participation.
Please Note: While users will receive this celebratory gift, reaching a milestone does not grant Finch Plus memberships to individual users. Winning the raffle and receiving a gifted Finch Plus subscription is indicated separately towards the start of the month when the raffle is run!
