šŸ“² Data Backup and Recovery

We know how important your progress isā€”hereā€™s how to keep it safe.

Please note:

By default, all data is only saved locally on your device. Deleting the app can result in data loss if you do not back up your data first. Please make sure to read the steps below!

Finch supports two types of backups:

ā˜ļø1. Cloud Backups (sign up for automated backups):

  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll down to the Account Section and select Profile.
  • Press Create Account -> This will automatically enable Cloud Backups for you.
  • These backups are done automatically once every 24 hours.

šŸ“² 2. Manual Backup (create your own backup file):

  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll down to the Account Section and select Your data.
  • Press Manual Backup
  • Tap Create Backup File and save it somewhere safe.
  • These backups are not automaticā€”make sure to update your backup regularly!

We recommend creating both backup types before switching devices or uninstalling the app.
